From kindergarten through graduation, counselors support students in their preparation for life. The counselors at Dunkerton
High School seek to assist parents and students through the many challenges of high school. From the time eighth grade students
begin their four year plan, one of the first persons they meet is the counselor. From this initial encounter through
graduation, families and students share in creating class schedules and transitioning into life after high school. In addition
to scheduling and the college process, counselors advise students about personal issues, athletics, extracurricular activities,
career options, and academic issues.
The counseling office is open from 8:00AM to 3:30PM for students
and parents to come in. Please feel free to drop by or make an appointment for another time.
